At Doon Oxford School, we follow a well-planned homework schedule that includes worksheets and subject-based projects for each class to strengthen concepts and improve understanding. As per CBSE guidelines, the school follows a Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) system focusing on the overall development of each child.The academic session is divided into two terms: April to September and October to March. Each term includes two Formative Assessments followed by a Summative Assessment. Formative assessments are based on class tests, project work, classroom activities, oral performance, and regular homework, while Summative Assessments are conducted through written examinations through a grading system.At the junior school level, special emphasis is given to developing oral and written communication, creative writing and strong mathematical skills, ensuring a strong academic foundation for future learning.
